Advertising on these web pages and in the pens list text messages is very economical and reaches the mainstream of pen collectors around the world. This revenue also helps to sustain the free services offered by the Zoss Pens listserv. Here are the details for banner advertising, and "Poster Board" ads on the pens pages of the zoss.com site.

Main Advertisers Summary:

* Banner ad on each pen-related web page (15 to 20 pages or more, limited to no more than three banner advertisers, each of which receives one of the three banner positions on each page. The order rotates from page to page.

* Each of these three banner advertisers also gets a one line text ad at the bottom of the thousands of text messages to the pens list subscribers (may include hyperlink, one of three lines at the bottom of each message, order rotates monthly)

* Price is $200 per month, billed quarterly and payable monthly (net 30 days)

* Advertisers will be changed occasionally for the sake of fairness and variety

Details of Banner Advertising :

1. The Zoss Pens List will have three main advertising positions.

2. Each of the three advertisers will have one banner advertisement on each of the many web pages that support the listserv. Banners will be the standard 468 by 60 pixel size. Advertisers usually supply their own art. Banners will link to the advertiser's web site.

3. Banner position on these pages will be varied, with each advertiser having a share of top positions, middle positions, and bottom on the web pages. Advertisers can substitute banners regularly.

4. Each of the three banner advertisers will be listed at the end of most text messages (or digest) distributed - in plain text, maximum about 60-65 characters wide (one line), which can include a hyperlink in the message line. The order of the advertisers rotates monthly so during a calendar quarter each of the three advertisers will be the top one for one month, middle for one month, bottom for one month. This rotation will keep things fair. The text for this end-message can change regularly as long as it fits into one line.

5. Banner advertisers pay only $200 per month, booked and billed on a quarterly basis ($600 per quarter), payable on a monthly basis, terms "Net 30."

Poster Board Advertisements

1. Box ads are available on a monthly basis

2. Cost is only $100 per month

Details of Poster Board advertising:

1. "Poster Board" advertisement boxes will be available on the web site.

2. These will be linked to advertiser sites, or can generate a personal e-mail when the box is clicked. Poster Board advertisers do not receive ad lines in the list text messages.

3. Poster Board advertisements will be sold on a monthly basis - one or many.

4. These ads will be posted in the left or right margin bands of the web pages.

5. Size will be exactly 150 pixels wide by up to 200 pixels tall (may be shorter but not longer).

6. Advertiser may supply the art or we will make up colored boxes with simple text upon request at no charge.
