THE PROBLEM: Software supplied by many packaged internet suppliers, like AOL but also others, may not allow you to send messages in plain text. This is odd because plain text is the internet default. These suppliers are trying to re-write the rules but, despite many complaints worldwide, they seem intent upon ignoring the conventions.
